1. Give it some time
You often don't like a fragrance at the first go... but gradually start loving it. This is because scents take some time to grow on you and get used to your body's smell (we all have a different body smell). Always give a new perfume the benefit of doubt.
2. Pick power points
Wrists and behind the ears may be the traditional spots to apply fragrance, but these areas also produce a lot of sebum, which alters the smell of your perfume. Better places to spray are chest, biceps and the dips of your collarbone.
3. Never mix fragrances
Most men tend to mix it all up by using shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, hair gel, and cologne all in different fragrances. Avoid clashing of scents by opting for minimally-scented grooming products.
